Pergolas

A pergola is an outdoor structure composed of columns or posts supporting an open roof of beams and rafters, often including a set of perpendicular “purlins” to form a grid-like pattern.

Freestanding Pergola

A freestanding pergola is not attached to the home, and so forms a separate structure. This style is frequently used in gardens and by the poolside. They can also be built in other areas, helping to create an outdoor living space for the resident(s), separate from the home.

Attached Pergola

An attached pergola attaches directly to a wall of your home on at least one side. This style is often used to improve an outside area connected to your house, such as a patio or deck.
